Apartments and Studios

The Rising Sun comprises 12 studios and 4 apartments and can sleep up to 40 people. Each studio accommodates two people. Apartments accommodate up to four people easily. Extra beds can be provided as required. All units come with a dedicated bathroom and balcony.



The complex is fully equipped & air-conditioned and comes with a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and a pool bar, a very well maintained garden, a children's area (playhouse, slides & swings), private parking and free WiFi access. All of our rooms come with a beautiful view of both the Corfiat mountainside and Ionian Sea.



The Rising Sun Pool Bar

You will find a large range of refreshing drinks and tasty snack meals at any time at the Rising Sun pool bar. The bar is also equipped with a pool table, a large satellite TV and a small selection of books for those of you who love to read!

The Rising Sun is situated in 'Benitses Tsaki' and can be found 12km outside of the town of Corfu. The complex is 20 minutes away by car/ bus from the Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport and only a kilometre away from the centre of the popular tourist resort 'Benitses'. In Benitses you will find traditional Greek restaurants and tavernas, kebab houses, coffee shops, bars and night clubs, two local supermarkets, a kiosk and of course tourist shops where you can pick up those holiday souvenirs! Besides the beautiful pebbled beaches you can also visit the Benitses Shell Museum, an archaeological site of Roman ruins and a number of traditional Greek churches. As the village is also connected to the mountains you could spend your day mountaineering and hiking, and who knows, maybe even find an abandoned church or two.



The means of public transportation connecting the complex with main areas of interest such as the island's airport, port and town centre are the No.6 blue bus (only 300 metres from the complex) and 24-hour running taxis.



The complex is only 400 metres away from the nearest beach!

Corfu is ideal to visit during Easter when you can participate in one of the biggest Easter celebrations seen in Greece or throughout the summer during which time you can enjoy the beautiful Ionian Sea and very sunny weather. When staying at the RISING SUN in Benitses Tsaki make sure not to miss out on the Sardine Festival held at the Benitses village centre during the first week of August or Saint Marina's 2-day festival held at Benitses village on the 16th and 17th of July. Both festivals are celebrated with live traditional Ionian music, a lot of traditional Greek dancing and of course tasty Greek food! So don’t miss out on some free fresh grilled sardines caught by the local fishermen or tasty souvlaki (kebab) and spit roasted lamb on Saint Marina's festival.
