A cosy and comfortable village house, Casa Romano has a log burning fireplace and portable gas fires for those cooler winter evenings. The first basket of logs is provided free of charge and thereafter can be purchased from the owners.

For those hot months, there is a ceiling fan in the living room and free standing fans for the bedrooms.

The owners, who live 10 minutes away, will be there to meet you on your arrival in Sedella and will show you to Casa Romano.They will hand over the keys, collect the security deposit in cash and answer any questions that you may have. On your departure,once again the owners will meet you to collect the keys and to hand back the security deposit in cash.

Vecindad

Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Tejeda Mountain Range, Sedella is a small typical Andalucian working village where the locals still go to tend their crops of Olives, Almonds and Grapes by mule. Even though located just a 35 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of the coast, the villagers still continue the traditions of centuries past making the local wine ' vino terrano ' and harvesting their Almonds and Olives to sell at the local markets.

Casa Romano, is situated on the outskirts of the village in the quieter part and has been carefully renovated to retain all the character of years gone by. The property has a large kitchen, an open plan Living / Dining room and downstairs W.C / Utility room. Stairs lead to a large family bathroom and the Master bedroom, more stairs then lead to another bedroom with patio doors leading to a large roof terrace with stunning 360 degree views of the countryside, village , mountain and south to the sea.

The village has a number of bars / restaurants, a couple of shops where you can buy basic supplies, a pharmacy / doctors and a large municipal swimming pool. The neighbouring larger village of Canillas de Aceituno has more shops, a butchers / bakers and a bank. Velez - Malaga and Torre del Mar, both a drive of 35 minutes away have large supermarkets.

There is free internet access just 30 metres from the house.

Please note - Smoking is strictly prohibited within the house but on the terrace is fine.

Eventos a proximidad

Sedella makes an ideal base for exploring Andalucia. Day trips can be made to visit such places as Granada and the Alhambra Palace, Ronda with it's amazing old bullring, Marbella and Puerto Banus, Gibraltar, Seville, Cordoba, Nerja and the beautiful Balcon de Europa and so the list goes on. If you enjoy walking - the countryside is perfect for a short stroll or an all day walk.

Andalucia is famous for it's various fiestas, the most well known being the Malaga Feria held the second week of August. Sedella holds it's own feria every 1st weekend of August.
