Welcome to Casa de Estrellas ! Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Tejeda Mountain range surrounded by vines and almond / olive trees, Casa de Estrellas is a cosy,comfortable, peaceful villa set in it's own land of just under one acre, located between the two beautiful and stunning white villages of Canillas de Aceituno and Sedella. Both villages have a variety of services to offer - shops, bars / restaurants, pharmacy, doctors, post office, banks and large municipal swimming pools with all facilities. If you wish to travel further afield, the list is endless - Gibraltar, once seen never forgotten, Marbella and Puerto Banus, Ronda and the magnificent old bullring, Granada and the Alhambra Palace, Cordoba, Seville and Nerja with it's stunning Balcon de Europa and the list goes on ! Or if you prefer, why not just sit on one of the south facing terraces of Casa de Estrellas with a nice glass of wine in hand and a bowl of local olives.

There are two south facing terraces to choose from with stunning views to the sea and surrounding countryside.

From mid June until mid September there is a small above ground plunge pool ( 2.5m x 76cm ) great fun for young children and suitable for adults to cool off in during the hottest months of the year.

Sun loungers are provided and there is also a shaded eating area complete with wooden table and chairs for Al fresco dining.

There is also a Weber charcoal BBQ.

For those cooler winter evenings a portable gas fire is provided.

For those hot months, the master bedroom has air conditioning and additional fans are provided.

Although there isn't internet access available in the villa, there is free internet access available in the village of Sedella which is 7.5 kms away. If you are bringing your own laptop with you there is also a free Wi - fi zone in the Chiringuito Bar in Sedella.

Please note - Smoking is strictly prohibited within the villa but on the terrace is fine.

Vecindad

Located in the ' campo ' ( countryside ), Casa de Estrellas is accessed by a dirt track of approximately 2kms from the main road.

The nearest beach is at Torre del Mar and is a drive of 40 minutes. Known as Playa del Mar it stretches for 4km. It is also one of the widest beaches in the area and so even in the summer there is plenty of sand to go around.

The nearest Airport is Malaga ( a drive of approximately 1 hour ), Granada Airport is 1 hour , 45 minutes.

Car hire is essential due to our rural location.

Both Canillas de Aceituno ( 5.5 kms ) and Sedella ( 7.5 kms ) are about a 10 minute drive away or a gentle stroll of 40 minutes. Larger supermarkets can be found in Torre del Mar and Velez - Malaga, about a 35 minute drive away.

The owners live just 5 minutes away from the property so should you require any assistance they are always on hand to help. If you like walking they can also advise on scenic routes to take ranging from a gentle stroll to a full days walking.

They will be there to meet you on your arrival in Canillas de Aceituno and will then show you to your villa. Although there is not internet access available in the villa, there is free internet access in the village of Sedella.

Your arrival and departure - The owners live just 5 minutes away from Casa de Estrellas therefore they themselves will be there to meet you on your arrival to hand over the keys, collect the security deposit in cash and to answer any questions that you may have. On your departure,once again the owners will meet you to collect the keys and to hand back the security deposit in cash.

Eventos a proximidad

Andalucia is renowned for it's Fiestas - the most famous being the Malaga Feria normally starting the second week of August and lasting for more than a week.
